Subject: Mandated Covid-19 Closing Extended

I hope this message finds you and your families in good health. Thank you to all our wonderful customers for sending us their kind thoughts and well wishes.

As you are already aware, mandatory shutdowns for non-essential businesses continue. Our retail stores, administrative office and warehouse will remain temporarily closed. For now, the Governor's anticipated reopening date for all businesses has been extended to Monday, May 4th. 

The Covid-19 virus has had a tremendous ripple effect throughout our industry and has impacted all facets of business today. Most of our vendors have been directed to temporarily cease operations. A few factories have risen to the challenge to be retrofitted in order to assist with the manufacturing of personal protective equipment (PPE) for those on the frontlines fighting this terrible disease. Trucking for our industry has slowed to a snail’s pace due to the inability to move products from manufacturing to the retail stores. In addition, all ancillary businesses that support each other have also seen a drastic slowdown in their daily grind.

This is a momentary situation. We shall overcome. Brighter days are ahead. You are very important to our continued business. We will continue to monitor the ever-changing daily events to keep you informed of any details that may impact our future abilities to resume business and service our customers as usual. Once we reestablish vendor communications, our customers with outstanding orders will be advised as to where their orders are in production or shipping and will be provided with a realistic eta to our warehouse. For those customers that had been previously scheduled for delivery, but postponed due to the current circumstance, you will be the first called and rescheduled. We want to assure you, that when we reopen our doors, we will endeavor to resume our high standards for offering quality American-made home furnishings, backed by the outstanding customer service for which we are known.
